2025 winners in offsite construction’s premier architectural competition
Since 2012, the Building Systems Councils (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has showcased the best in offsite design through its Excellence in Home Design awards. The awards program was named in honor of the late Jerry Rouleau, a highly respected figure in the industry. (For more on Jerry Rouleau, see our profile in this issue.)
Things have changed a bit this year. The awards are now part of NAHB’s Best in American Living Awards (BALA), which were presented at this year’s International Builders Show. “This move gives greater national exposure to the offsite building industry and showcases the best of what our industry can produce,” says Devin Perry, BSC’s Executive Director.
BALA’s Offsite Construction categories include residential, multifamily and commercial projects using modular, log home, timber frame and panelized building.
But while the name of the awards program has changed, the goal remains the same: to demonstrate the architectural versatility of offsite construction. This article highlights winning entries in each category. All are Gold or Silver award winners.
